Our annual meeting will be held Sat 1/21 1-3pm @ Holly Township Library
(just South of Grange Hall & North Holly Road/S.Saginaw intersection – East side of road).

Agenda will include elections, IMBA application update, Trail updates, etc.

Trail conditions = volunteer response.

The DNR does not provide manpower to maintain this trail system. Your Secretary of State park fee does not fund them to do so. Holdridge trail maintenance is 100% dependent on MMBA members and friends who volunteer. Please take some time out to give back to the trails that you enjoy

Bring gloves, safety glasses, plenty of fluids (critical in the heat), energy snacks, bug repellent and backpack.

Please arrive at trail head prior to start time for instructions and prep.

2011 Ruby Trail Days

Team Sandbag has been involved with the creation and maintenance of the Ruby Trail Project for years. In fact TSB named it “The Ruby Trail Project / One of a Kind”. This year our squad plans to continue the Trail Service Day Program and keep the trail in tip top shape for all to enjoy. The trail which is located on the property of the Ruby Campground is a little slice of heaven right in many of TSBer’s back yards. With its technical turns, and fast descents the trail will surely make anyone at any riding or trail running level giggle and squeal all within one 5 mile loop. Oh, don’t forget about the double water crossing, that silly obstacle always catches everyone off guard.

PLEASE HELP: If you would like to give back to the community in a positive manner, please join Team Sandbag on one of the following Trail Days. We always have a good time and usually have a simple BBQ Lunch after and maybe even do a loop or so. We gather at 8:30ish and work until Noonish. Please bring the following items with you; Gloves, Leaf Rake, A Smile and a great Attitude.

The Holdridge Tail Day schedule for 2011 has been posted here on our main page as well as on the Trail Days page. Please plan to participate! Our trails are 100% maintained by MMBA volunteers and friends working with the local land manager (DNR) and coordinated by lead trail coordinator Ron Arnott.

April 2 10am–3pm Spring Cleanup and meeting Trail Day
May 14 10am–3pm Trail Day
June 18 9am–3pm Trail Day
July 9 9am–3pm Trail Day and Group Ride
July 30 9am-3pm Trail Day
August 20 9am–3pm Trail Day
September 10 9am–3pm Trail Day and meeting
